Revoltech Jigen Daisuke Review Summary

Popular Japanese hobby blog, Hobby Stock, has reviewed a sample revoltech figure that I know a lot of us are really looking forward to--Jigen Daisuke. First come the images, and I'll summarize the content of the review at the bottom of the post.

Generally speaking, I'm not a huge fan of the revoltech line. Personally, the figures I've bought have just been far too fragile for my tastes. I am, however, a ridiculously big fan of Lupin III, and these figures really seem to capture the frenetic, excited art style of Monkey Punch. So, yeah--I'm looking forward to it a helluva lot. To summarize the Hobby Stock review:

-The jacket and tie are made out of a soft, flexible material to allow for the greatest possible range of movement.
-Attaching the pistol to Jigen's waist decreases the figure's mobility.
-Lots of optional components.
-Jigen comes with three facial expressions--but none of them have any eyes.
-The 'background board' can be reversed to either show a concrete wall or a brick wall.
-The figure offers a wide range of motion that allows it to perfectly recapture many scenes from the anime series' and movies.
-It looks fantastic from every angle.

Quite the glowing review, eh? The Revoltech Jigen Daisuke figure will be released November 15, 2010. The figure was sculpted by Yamaguchi Katsuhisa, and stands 135mm tall.
